Living Systems Lab™
The Living Systems Lab™ is a container for applied leadership practice — a 24-hour, five-week program that gives working leaders the space to practice transformative leadership on real organizational challenges. Drawing on somatic practice, arts-based learning, systems thinking, and collective wisdom, the Lab helps professionals in and around mission-driven organizations lead differently.
Format (hybrid):
- In-person intensive: October 29–30, 2026 — two full days at The Atelier, Saint Paul University, Ottawa
- Online sessions: four 2-hour Thursday sessions on Zoom — November 5, 12, 19 & 26, 2026
Over five weeks you will: work through a real leadership challenge with facilitation and peer support; design and run a leadership experiment inside your organization; deepen self-awareness and inner coherence; build collective wisdom within a small peer cohort; and establish sustainable leadership practices and lasting community connections.
Who it's for: professionals working in or with mission-driven organizations who are ready to lead differently — government managers, mid-to-late-career corporate professionals, Saint Paul University alumni, prospective School of Leadership, Ecology and Equity (SLEE) students, and current students.
Facilitators:
- Avegaile Calzado — MA, Transformative Leadership and Spirituality; MA, Professional Communication
- Eliza von Baeyer — PhD, Organizational Development & Change; Fellow, Institute for Social Innovation
